About Us

“Our mission is to exceed the standards in home and commercial inspection services.”

Home Inspection

The decision to buy a home is seldom easy. It can be a major, complex, and very personal experience. Along with the considerations of price and the neighborhood, the style, size and floor plan contribute to the fundamental question: “is the house, itself, sound?”

Our inspection services will help you answer this question and give you peace of mind about your purchase.

Commercial Inspection

Whether you are buying a building or maintaining the one you currently occupy, it is vital to have as much information as possible about the condition of one of your most valuable assets. Let us give you that information to help you make sound decisions about your business.

What is an Inspection?

The service we provide is visual inspection. It is a comprehensive overview of the primary structures and systems of the building. Our inspectors will carefully examine the building’s condition to expose defects both major and minor.

This is neither a code compliance inspection nor a value assessment of the property. Our goal is to give you a better understanding of the condition of the property you own or are planning to purchase.

Inspectors

Our inspectors are well trained and come with a depth and breadth of experience you won’t find anywhere else.

Mike Cutro is the best inspector - hands down. I asked Mike to do a home inspection on a duplex I am purchasing. Mike is professional, extremely thorough, very knowledgeable in all home aspects, practical, experienced, responsive, incredibly kind and great to work with! Mike created a very detailed inspection report that I can use as a blueprint for repairs and improvement projects. I highly recommend Cutro Professional Inspections for your home inspection needs. Thank you, Mike!

The inspection they did was phenomenal. Mike was thorough, knowledgeable, and very informative. He was very good at explaining each problem, potential hazards, and potential solutions. Although the house we looked at did not work for us, we will absolutely use Cutro Professional Inspections for the next one.

I contacted Mr. Cutro by phone on 6/23/26 and left a message regarding the need to have an inspection done. I needed a thorough and professional inspection to identify suspected defects and faulty installations on my residence and garage by a local contractor. The contractor was to repair storm damages from the 2025 February winter storm. I was having difficulties with the contractor with regard to poor workmanship, failure to complete contracted work, and many other issues. This was an $85,000.00 insurance covered repair contract.

Mr. Cutro contacted me the very next day and arranged for an inspection for the following day - super fast responsiveness!

Mr. Cutro came out, fully explained the inspection process, and walked me through the inspection report format and other details. He quoted a very good price for the work that needed to be done.

Mr. Cutro's inspection was thorough, detailed, and covered all areas of concern. He took many pictures to include in the report as a backup to the report text. He was very understanding and compassionate and took his time with me and answered all my questions.

Within one day of his inspection, he emailed the completed inspection to me for my review and comments - if I had any. There were no areas that needed further detail or improvement. I am very impressed with his responsiveness, timeliness, and thoroughness.

Thank you, Mike!

We had the pleasure of working with the owner, Mike Cutro, for our home inspection, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. He was incredibly thorough, walking us through the entire home, pointing out areas to monitor, and explaining routine maintenance along the way. The following day, he provided a detailed inspection report complete with photos and organized findings based on their level of severity, making it easy to understand and prioritize. We truly appreciated his professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Mike Cutro was very thorough and gave us a 60-page report full of detailed information about everything in the house with recommendations for improvement when necessary. As we went along, he explained everything and answered any questions we had. He also let us know about companies who perform services like landscaping which we will need when we move in. I would give him 6 stars if I could.

Mikes inspections are Always thorough and in detail. My clients appreciate his availability to the task as well. Thanks for all you do Mike!

I received an immediate call from Mike after he received my information. He was very nice to talk to. Answered all of my questions and was able to set an appointment that worked with my schedule.
Dylan was the inspector that I worked with. He was very nice. Pleasant to me and the tenants of the house. He was very thorough and explained as he went through the process. He was true to his word. He told me I would get the report the same night and I did. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to family and friends. Thank you Mike and Dylan !!!!!!

Mike Cutro did an excellent job on our home inspection. He was thorough, professional, and extremely knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything clearly and honestly. He didn’t rush the process and made sure we understood both the major items and the smaller details, which gave us real confidence moving forward.

His report was well organized, easy to understand, and delivered promptly. You can tell he genuinely cares about doing the job right and protecting his clients. I would absolutely recommend Mike to anyone looking for a reliable, detail-oriented home inspector.

Michael Cutro of Cutro Professional Inspections of Oswego New York, was EXTREMELY thorough, and we would highly recommend him!

He arrived early to get a jump start inspecting the roof and exterior of the home to take photos; he even took time out of his busy weekend to accommodate us.

His attention to detail was impressive and he was willing to explain all his findings as we went through the home, in a general manner that was easy to understand.

His career as a firefighter and safety inspector definitely shows with his knowledge and attention to detail.

The report was incredibly detailed and thorough including photos of issues color coded to severity for easy identification; making it easy to have informed discussions with the seller about necessary repairs.

Mine is very friendly and down to earth and we were very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism.

His thoroughness helped us feel at ease about our decision and was worth every penny and we would use him again!

Thanks Again Mike !

Mike is so knowledgeable! I trusted in everything he told us, even when it made me cry because it’s not what I wanted to hear about our potential future home! But, we needed to hear it and move forward with his expertise! He walked us through and showed us EVERYTHING! He had been a fireman and shared all safety items with us. When finished, what I really want is to move into his house where I know everything is done correctly!!
